I have finished retopologizing the body of the cop. I am still working on his clothes but all of his accessories have also been completed. But since we will only view him from the waist up I have focused mostly on his hands and face. I kept most of the polygons concentrated in those areas and the body with the least amount as those will be covered. This was quite the learning process but I definitely feel a lot more confident with it in general. After I finish up his shirt and pants I will be sending him off to get UVs done. The grandma character has her rig completed so my next task will be importing her mesh into Unreal engine and replacing the mannequin that has the mocap data with our new grandma mesh. Then we can finally start refining our animations. Completing the step feels like a huge relief as I was stuck on this for some time. It will be good to get more progress done from here on out.
